Welcome  to the 2012 Stars and Stripes:

This is our 9th year to host this annual tournament and it is hard to believe it has been almost a decade since the very first one in Liberty MO.  We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of this event and we look forward to hosting it several more years into the future.

Hosting a quality tournament does not come with out its challenges.   No challenge was greater then in 2010 when the squirrel knocked out the power and we had a 3 hour delay.  That was also the year that we committed to using the Lajust EBP for all sparring competitors and needed to be on time. It was a crazy day.  Thanks to coaches, referees, volunteers, athletes, and parents the event was successful and few will forget it.

The tournament committee learned a lot that year and the adjustments were made for 2011 making that event run very smooth and efficient.

The major change for this year will be the use of the DAEDO / TRUESCORE PSS for 14 to 32 Black Belt divisions.  This is becoming the most popular system in the world and has been working very well at events.
